When you maximize a window, it may cover something that you need to see at all times, so you will have to click and drag its edges, until the size is just right. In other cases, certain applications will always load their interfaces in full screen mode, instead of how you leave them. With MaxMax, you will be able to force almost any window to a certain size and location on the screen. You can make the necessary configurations fast and precise.

During the setup process, you will have to interact with basic options for selecting a destination path or placing a shortcut on your desktop. The setup wizard will scan for applications that need to be closed, before installing the application. If none of your running programs need to be shut down, you may proceed to the next step and install the program.

The application is designed to work in the background. The user interface is a compact settings panel, which does not contain too many options. You will find a graphical representation of a window, along with four counters, which can be used to select the size for each of the window's margins. Alternatively, you may resize the window representation itself, by clicking and dragging its edges or corners. The size and position of the illustrated window will reflect on actual windows, when you maximize them.

If you are using multiple monitors, you may configure your windows separately, for each monitor. MaxMax detects your monitors automatically and it lets you select them from a drop menu. Additionally, you can suppress a certain key by selecting it from a different drop menu. If you do not want to force certain windows to a position and size, you may compile a list of exclusions. All it requires is to type the application's .exe file.

Pros

MaxMax lets you force most windows to a size and position of your choosing. It is lightweight and you can install it in a few moments. Furthermore, its functions are very easy to use.

Cons

The application will not affect certain windows, such as web browsers. MaxMax gives you full control over the size and position of your windows, when you maximize them. Its simple interface makes this a swift and straightforward task.
